About Me I am a history loving, book reading, play in the dirt, miniature fanatic. I've had a dollhouse as long as I can remember. My grandmother was my biggest inspiration when it comes to minis, and every time I begin crafting something I think of her.
My current focus is creating realistic, and unique miniature plants and flowers. I'm always game to give a new plant or flower a try. The tricky ones are the most fun. I am a member of NAME. As of April 2016 I am also an IGMA artisan member. These are both great resources and groups for miniature fans. Check them out if you haven't already heard of them! Take a look at my webpage and gallery, and let me know if I can make something for you! I'll try to create something you will love, and in return you are helping me pay for graduate school! Thank you! |
My Methods |
I use many different materials for my mini plants, and I love to experiment. Most use a combination of paper types, floral wire, and flocking. I hand dye, paint or chalk all of my own papers. Sometimes using a combination of methods to get the right look. I use many different types of papers too! From silk crepe, rice paper, shuen paper to coffee filter paper and everything between. Some are acid-free, others I use a spray to reduce and stabilize them. Your flowers should last a long time to come, but remember to keep them out of direct sunlight!

Let Me Make Something for You! |
Some finished plants are available in my web-shop or eBay. But if you don't find anything there you like, just tell me what you want! I accept custom orders, as big or small as you like. Typically I work in 1:12 scale, but I can give anything a try. Visit my Contact page to send a message.
